Last updated: 8 May 2026 (version 2026-05-08)
ChessVC voice connects you with your opponent in real time. These rules keep matches fun and safe for everyone. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The rules
- No hate speech, slurs, harassment, threats, or targeted abuse toward anyone.
- Keep things respectful — disagree without insulting other players.
- No sexually explicit, violent, graphically disturbing, or otherwise unlawful content over voice.
- Do not scream into the mic, spam noise, or deliberately disrupt other people's games.
- If someone mutes you, stops using voice, or blocks you, respect that and move on.
- Breaking these guidelines may lead to moderation, including losing access to voice features or your account, as described in our Terms of Service.
Safety tips
- Use mute if you need a break from hearing your opponent.
- You can stop voice anytime from the game panel.
- If someone crosses a line, stop engaging and use block/mute tools where available.
